Just as love is born, from the mixture of different feelings, our Jazz Café Restaurant Trinidad Cuba was born.
A mixture of the culinary initiative of an excellent Cuban master chef, the local culture and the love for jazz.
It all started in the summer of 2020, my father, culinary master chef at the FORMATUR school in Trinidad Cuba, today with more than 20 years of experience, missed every morning the smell of a Caribbean kitchen, his students and the indescribable feeling of put on his chef’s outfit.
Every day he got up and did nothing but talk about cooking, until we stopped talking about setting up a restaurant while we finished a cuban coffee.
The idea sounded so real that we instantly set out to find a venue.
Somebody told us about a space, located in the downtown street of the city that was for sale.

I liked the name and the place was wonderful.
My father entered and went straight to the kitchen, reviewed every detail and expressed:
Specialized in providing unique experiences through gastronomy and music!
Without further ado, we already had our slogan, but we lacked the menu.
The next day I will never forget my father listening to Billie Holiday as she baked our first dessert, The Big Band, a dish capable of playing a melody of flavors.
For me everything was clear, we would pair the good taste of true tropical cuisine with live jazz music.

With more than 20 years in the Dulcería Bakery on the part of the family, it is to be expected that our best dishes are related to dessert.
We currently offer The Big Band.
A dessert created with the aim of honoring those great jazz bands that were born in New Orleans and representing it as a social, cultural, idiosyncratic and racial phenomenon.
Through this creation, our chef sweetly thanks everything that jazz has done for people over the years, which was undoubtedly an inclusive cultural element; liberator and binder.
This gastronomic delight arises from the combination of three desserts in which chocolate is the protagonist, represented by a brownie, a sponge cake and a pancake.
Three preparations that generously imitate a big jazz band, where mix and creativity play their melody of flavors.
To decorate, cream is used, alluding to how Afro-Americans mestified and merged in relation to the art of music, until jazz was created.
As well as our dessert The big band, which joins us in a unique gastronomic experience at the Jazz Café Trinidad Restaurant.

Excellent rapport qualité prix, très bien situé
Le repas était délicieux et la Piña colada également. Le service était très attentionné sans être pesant. Une très agréable soirée avec un joueur de clavier discret mais de très bonne qualité.

Det tok oss nesten 2 timer før vi fikk maten, og selv da hadde vi ikke fått alt vi skulle - det viste seg at deler av retten vår manglet på kjøkkenet. Så vi fikk ikke alt vi skulle, og tok en evighet til tross for få kunder. Ville ikke gått her igjen

Minable, les plus mauvais mojitos et piña colada de Cuba
A fuir si vous voulez un vrai mojito frais. Notre mojito était chaud avec un goût d’eau et très peu de rhum.
La piña colada quand à elle, est restée sur l’estomac.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Sehr netter Service. Wir waren dort zweimal und haben sehr gute originelle Bands erlebt. Halt Jazz und somit mal eine Pause von der Standart Son Musik.

Good food and fabulous entertainment!
Ambling around town this looked a nice clean place. The bar and the restaurant are separate.
The menu attracted us as varied and sensibly priced. Initially we were the only diners, although there were some souls in the bar. Within a few minutes of being seated, four very sexy ladies came in with their musical instruments (no electronics or amplifiers!) and gave the most fantastic salsa performance. It was so good I hardly remember what I ate!

Cercavamo un ristorante dove pranzare velocemente e che avesse qualcosa di semplice anche per dei bambini piccoli e vedendo il cartello che faceno pure le Crepe ci ha convinto ad entrare.
Il personale è stato gentilissimo e ci ha servito velocemente (fatto non scontato in quest'isola bellissima): Crepe per i bambini e piatti locali per noi accompagnati da vari Mojito Pienamente soddisfatti. Niente carta di credito ma è così praticamente ovunque.

This place just gets it right. Great Vegan and non vegan options. Efficient service. Best restaurant we have tried in Trinidad.
